In 2016 an extension to our beach house on the Peninsula was completed by Cameron Haynes. We had been looking for a builder that we felt would be reliable, accommodating, honest and exceptional at their trade. We feel that we were most fortunate in finding Cameron as the work he completed and the manner in which he went about his work, fulfilled all our expectations. His workmanship was brilliant which resulted in a beautiful extension to our property of which we are very proud. Throughout the whole process, Cameron was a delight to work with as he communicated openly, regularly and honestly. Besides adhering to our specifications, at times Cameron saw possibilities for an even a better outcome and he would readily share such suggestions with us. Besides so admirably fulfilling his role as builder, Cameron was always happy to assist with other aspects that come one’s way when undertaking such a project. This was particularly helpful as being a holiday house project, we were not present on site when the building works were in progress. I, Phillip Xuereb contacted Cameron Haynes after he was recommended by a friend who used Haynes Build to do a extension /renovation to their house in Rye. We also wanted a local builder to do an extension to our house in Blairgowrie. The extension and upgrade to our house was designed by DX Architects Pty. Haynesbuild renovated our house at Portsea in 2019 after being recommended to us my son, Lewis Marash, at Dangayfer Design. The house was an old 1980 brick veneer on a slab of no particular merit. The only part of the original house that remained after the renovation was the garage and car port so the construction was virtually a total re-build. The former single storey premises was turned into two storeys with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with 3 large living areas. We are delighted with the result. Hayensbuild completed the job on time and virtually nothing has gone wrong since. The one or two things that needed follow-up were completed quickly and efficiently. I would be happy to recommend Haynesbuild to anyone. The company is rapidly building an excellent reputation on the Mornington Peninsula.
