A monochromatic material palette reflects soft natural light inside Chenier. Panelled mirror, a large skylight and black stained timber wrapping from the external facade to the interior wall subtly illuminate the hall and main bathroom.

Entering Chenier Street on the Mornington Peninsula, a cranked blade wall pulls you through into an extended threshold entrance. Black timber wraps from the external facade into the interior, articulating the extension of landscape and architecture.

Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Chenier Street blurs the lines between architecture and landscape. A light-weight, single level volume is stitched into the surrounding natural environment through a series of interconnecting rendered blade walls, creating a layered sense of privacy and internal courtyards.
